Travelodge by Wyndham Dexter

We reserved a room in April of 2023 so that we could see the eclipse in April of 2024. Less than a month before our trip, the hotel cancelled our reservation and ruined our entire trip. Staff and management was rude. Sadly they cancelled so that they could re-book for a higher price. Definitely wont be doing business again due to their shady and corrupt business practices.

I made a reservation a year ago for the night before the total eclipse. I was just informed by the motel that they can't honor my reservation. I had to cancel my plans. They did this because they can get a lot more for the room. The desk clerk admitted that is the reason when I called to complain. Terrible.

The reservation that I had made on April 8, 2023 was canceled because there were no rooms available. The room I reserved was for April 7th 2024. How does this happen when it was reserved a year in advance? So disappointing.

Sharon and the other housekeeping staff were wonderful. Alesha at the desk was s nice and friendly. Couldn't of had better stay, Awesome. Very clean plenty if towels. My stubborn cat was refusing to come from under the bed at check out. They all helped me get her out. I have back knee and hip issues and one of the housekeeper actually got on the floor and coaxed her out and so did Sharon. I had a lot of luggage and Sharon volunteered to help me. They were so helpful and i will stay here again with a lot of grandkids!!!! Rooms: Very clean. Plenty of towels. Long hot water shower.Resturaunts near by., safety bars in the shower and was walk in.
