image I have had Vertigo for over 24 years and have had therapy twice and it was, supposedly cured at one time because, as the ENT physician stated it was in my brain and not my ear. That lasted for awhile but it returned and was definitely in my left ear. I heard about this clinic from my neighbor whose internist had referred her, it sounded like a winner with all Audiologists handling the treatment. And so, since I could still get dizzy, even with taking two 25 mg of Meclizine daily, I became a patient. Their treatment is a whole new ballgame, and I'm so glad that I learned about it. I'm no longer dizzy from Vertigo, plus my balance is so much better, and at 85, that's appreciated. It involved a couple phone calls, one to prepare you for the visit, paper work describing your situation, one day at the clinic, and a follow up phone call to see how you are doing. I have not felt this well in years and I'm so grateful.
I would suggest that you take Uber, since it takes a few hours and you don't want anyone to wait for you, and you should not drive yourself home. They will call for you. I drove, but I don't advise it. I was told by my phenomenal, Audiologist, Therapist that I might have diarrhea and she was right, but fortunately I made it home before that happened. I hope that it never returns, but should it return, I will call this institute immediately. The Doctor of Audiology sent my report to my internist to be sure to check my Vitamin K on my next lab work, she did and it was within normal range. It's good to know to watch your Vitamin K. That's the ear vitamin. I was not aware of that.
I'm so thankful, and my hope is that many of you with this earth shattering disease will visit this clinic, and have the amazing results that I'm experiencing, as I said, It's a whole new ballgame.

image First visit was great, just be prepared for having to pay another 30.00 copay just to get results. Rip off.

Business Response on Google Mar 8th, 2024
We hear your frustration. Unfortunately copays are dictated by your insurance company and we are legally required to collect them, otherwise it is committing fraud towards the insurance company. The evaluation is a 3.5 hour exam and it takes time to analyze and review all the results in order to accurately diagnose and subsequently treat your issue. You were offered to have your results printed, however when you are scheduled to spend 30 minutes with a Doctor, who is explaining all the results to you, that is considered an office visit copay. This is an issue that you should be addressing with your insurance company

image Ive had vertigo for 10 years which had caused immense damage in my life, my identity and my marriage. I found Midwest dizziness and balance two months ago. It is the most amazing place with the kindest, educated people. The process was just amazing and I just graduated today with unbelievable progress. This place is life changing and I will be forever grateful that God guided me there and the staff took such good care of me.

image It is with a heavy heart that I write this review, but I feel it important to share. Ive had vertigo for several years and after a consultation decided to move forward with their program. I was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraine and placed on a 5 week treatment program. Treatment included an approximate one hour weekly office visit in the spinning chair/capsule plus home exercises twice daily. The 5 weeks then lead to 10 weeks until I refused that type of treatment because I was worse and could barely drive a car without getting vertigo. I requested the lead doctor review my file (several times). I was then diagnosed with Vestibular Spinal Reflex and told I would have been treated differently had she known (misdiagnosed). I was then referred to a Chiropractor. Bottom Line 1) Ask for a 2nd opinion 2) Ask to read your file (mine didnt mirror my understanding) 3) Dont be afraid to speak up when the treatment doesnt work. Supposedly they have a high success rate but after following the home exercises, 10 weeks of treatment (5,000 miles travel) I was worse. No apology, no refund given. Hope this helps future patients and they have a better end result than mine.
