My cat Hank had been diagnosed with lung cancer. One night he started to struggle breathing. He was close to the end and I wasnt sure how long it would take for him to die. I didnt want him to suffer. I raced to the Horton Animal emergency Hospital at about 11 oclock at night. They immediately took him from me, and started medical treatment to ease his breathing, and let him leave this world without suffering. He died while they were trying to do this. I spent several minutes by myself with my cat. I have nothing except good things to say about the staff that night at the vet hospital. I had Hank cremated. When they called me to come pick up his ashes, they were again very sincere and nice in how they treated me. Thank you to the Horton Emergency Veterinary hospital.

I used to really like this vet, however they have increased their exam fees from $55 to $65 (on top of other issues). I went here before because their quality of care was great, however I feel like this place has gotten worse over time. I never see the same vet, theres always different assistants and people at the counter, this place seems like a revolving door in terms of their staff, which may indicate a deeper issue. That, and they didnt honor a waived exam fee like they said they would for my cats since theyd been there recently and didnt tell me this until I was checking out. I wont be coming back here anymore unless for an emergency.

Completely unhelpful with our dog who is alot of pain. Told us they could do nothing and told us to go somewhere else. We will not be going back.
