    Very helpful, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the new spa and took care of the few issues it had very promptly.

    I noticed a slow leak in our hot tub. I called Vaughn Pools, who I bought the hot tub from, for service, as I had in the past. TWO technicians came out, examined the tub and told me I had a slow leak. They said they could not do anything about it short of tearing out insulation, handed me a $30 (retail, on line) bottle of Fix A Leak, and gave me instructions on how to do the repair myself which I did myself. I later received a bill for $200 which included $50 for the bottle of Fix A Leak. I sent a letter saying I thought this was excessive for what essentially could be told to me over the phone. I received no response other than a second bill for the same amount. It is disappointing to experience this from a business with whom I have had a 7 year relationship. Reading other reviews, I see where this is going (additional bills with service charges). My only recourse after I paid was to post this and hope other customers will avoid an unpleasant experience. Vaughn will "win" this round. Not much question though, whether there will ever be another. The customer always gets the final vote.

    We have been loyal customers of this business for many years. I contacted the service department in December 2021 to repair a leak to our spa previously purchased from Vaughn Pools and fix a broken jet. I was informed by an employee that both the leak and jet were covered by warranty and could be repaired at no cost to us. When the work on the leak (but not the jet) were completed two months later, we received an invoice for over $400. When I called to ask about why we were being charged, I was informed that in fact the warranty had expired. The service employee told me not to pay the bill until he had spoken with the manager and talked with me further. When several weeks had passed with no contact, I tried calling the manager on multiple occasions, but could not contact him and no one returned the calls. Finally, I paid the invoice, but did not pay the finance charges that had been accruing because I had been following the service employee's instructions to hold off on payment. I did not initially intend to write a negative review about this but rather to just let it go. But a few days ago I received another invoice for the finance charges. We will be looking for another spa business to work with.
