    The service was good up to a certain pointwhen the cable lines in the yard needed to be replaced and the Tap Box repaired all Hell has broken looseits been three weeks and the problem is still not solved.Nobody has any answers because the maintenance department reports to No One!!!!! Socket Here I Come!!!!

    Im writing this review right now, from my phones data. If youre into not having internet, but paying for internet, this is the company for you. Its pretty much insulting how bad it is.

    Mediacom has been my only cable/internet option where I am located. I originally had cable, internet, phone (elderly Mom lives with me and doesnt use cell). Every single month the price of my bundle went up without any explanations. When they wanted $405.35 a month, I cut cable and kept internet & phone but still price kept increasing. I filed a complaint with the FCC and someone from Mediacom reached out and locked me in for $79.99 plus tax for a year. That year is up. The first month (last month) without being locked in was $133.36 (internet & phone). Just got my bill for the second month without being locked in and bill went up 32 cents. May not sound like a lot but when its 32 cents every single month, it adds up and leaves a terrible taste. Also, you are charged a $20 yearly fee for being a loyal customer I wish I was kidding about that but I am not. A CSR said that $20 fee I was charged was for being a loyal customer. Thankfully socket fiber is coming into my neighborhood soon and I will be making the switch. I work remote and need reliable internet. Mediacom is also not reliable. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid if you can. If not, best of luck to you and your wallet.
