La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbia

I came to this hotel tired and exhausted looking for somewhere to crash on my trip to Tennessee. I was met by Sarah (who really made this a 5 star experience and deserves any praise and recognition) at the front counter and I have to say her warm welcome and joyful personality made me have a newfound appreciation for La Quinta. I will be telling anyone and everyone who is passing through or looking for a longer stay to come by. Rooms: Nice and tidy. Very minor things could be cleaned better but price and service makes it worth coming too.

Staff not very friendly or helpful. No late checkout available even though hotel was basically empty. Needed a pair of scissors to open medication, was told they had no scissors at front desk. Sopper in sink drain broken. Would not stay here again.

Don't stay here. Honestly it wasn't even worth the low price that we stayed for the night. I got connecting rooms, as it was me and my fiance and 3 kids. The double queen smelled like smoke and turning on the ac was making it worse! And then the king room we stayed in had dirty comforter that looks like there was blood on it! When I went to the front desk both times, the people there seemed like I was a nuisance. And the lady was dressed in pajamas and no shoes!

Nice comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and service. A little tired, but overall very good.

No pool, but there is a hot breakfast in the morning and a fridge in the room
