The Missouri Realtor's 2020 Codes of Ethics & Standards of Practice states that Johns primary obligation is to his client, but that this does not relieve him of his obligation to treat all parties honestly. John represented a buyer who placed a contract on our home. After we accepted the contract we received communication from our agent that his buyers have made the decision to not pursue this purchase. They were requesting to be released from the contract was reasonable, but being released without losing earnest money was not (what is the point of earnest money?). Our agent counselled that if we did not release Johns client from the contract without losing earnest money, the buyers agent would cite something unacceptable. John did find something unacceptable that was public information PRIOR to his clients original offer. Based on our interaction with John, he is an excellent buyers agent, but questionable with regards to treating all parties with honesty.

John is awesome. He made everything super easy when selling my house and definitely went above and beyond my expectations. He even went so far as to do some touch-ups on the paint! Great guy - would trust him with anything.
