My family chose to work with Upper Crust Catering for my June 2016 wedding reception at the Elm Street Ballroom, and we were happy with our event. The space was just the right size for our guest list of about 100 people. The food was delicious, and we heard nothing but rave reviews from all of our guests about the dinner. We hit some communication bumps during the planning process and occasionally waited several days for responses to our questions, but we got most things resolved before the event and enjoyed the night overall.

This is actually the second unpleasant experience I've had with the Upper Crust and their ballroom. They over-booked us and told us less than a month away from our fundraising event that we could no longer use the room. Now we're scrambling to find a replacement. On both occasions, the catering people are very difficult to reach. They seem a bit unprofessional when they make you give a $500 deposit to a baker, who puts it in their safe-box with a sticky note on it, without even a receipt or being able to talk to a catering person. I will no longer recommend your ballroom.
