Wellness Beyond the Chair is absolutely amazing! You can feel the energy from the time you enter the welcoming and calming space. I was able to experience the sound bowl healing which was transformative to me recentering and the progression of my contious journey of healing. I left rejuvenated, peaceful and present. I've had multiple sound healing sessions w/Cherese at Wellness beyond the Chair. Cherese uses high quality crystal bowls along with other instruments (my favorite is the one that sounds like the ocean) along with musical meditations based on an intention you choose. The physicality of the sound is really soothing. The space is welcoming, inclusive, and is curated to cater to the senses with low lights, warm colors, a soft blanket, plants, and essential oils. It feels like stepping out of the world for a bit. I feel rejuvenated, sharper, and better equipped to engage with the world following a session. It's like a reset. As a sound practitioner, Cherese is warm and welcoming, empathetic, willing to listen to feedback, and the sessions have truly been a safe space for me. The location is also ideal, as it is a centrally located office building in Clayton, 2 minutes walk from the Clayton station metro and bus hub.
