Residence Inn by Marriott St. Louis Clayton

This was a great spot for me and my family. It was four adults and three children and we were well accommodated. We had two rooms but even if we had one it would have been enough room for all of us. The breakfast was good and the bar was open so we did have a bottle of wine that was excellent. The grandchildren really enjoyed the place but it's not truly kid friendly. There's no pool for the children and no place for the children to really play a suffer across the street, but that was great because they enjoyed the waterfall across the street.

Very beautiful hotel rooms.premium location close to restaurants, banks. Here i Want to highlight the hotel manager Mr Christopher he is the man for this job .he cares and listens. One night he came up to do the house keeping himself when the housekeeper missed our room . I want to thank him out loud.

Daily parking is available for an additional fee. The environment and service are almost worthy of the price on the first day. The daily room rate was about $50 more expensive than the previous day. There is no swimming pool and the breakfast is no surprise. Green fee is a mystery.

This hotel is extremely clean, huge rooms (very comfortable), great location, outstanding customer service, awesome bar, great place to stay to explore downtown Clayton Nearby activities: Shaw park is beautiful and lots of fun for planned or Impromptu outside activities.

This was my first time at this hotel. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. The rooms are clean and the hotel is well located in Clayton across from a park and down the street from a boutique grocery store and several eateries. What the has in cleanliness and location it lacks in soul. For many people, that would be absolutely fine. If you happen to get lucky, and 50% of the guests do, youll get a room facing the park, and a southern exposure with plenty of light. If you dont get lucky, youll get a room facing a dark garage. The lobby is airy and brightly lit with fluorescen-type bulbs. They carry that theme into the bar, which is also overly lit with fluorescence. Given the size and scale of the lobby area, it could be so much nicer. But that is not what they are going for. Simply clean, spare, and soulless.
