Margot was great in the beginning. After close to a year of representing me in my divorce case she started causing some mistakes with my paperwork and notary items that caused delays in my case. My messages, emails and texts started to go unanswered. I learned after several attempts that she was having some health complications that caused her to go on leave of absence and unable continue representing her clients, which has caused further delays in my case.

Do not hire! NEVER on time most unprofessional person I think Ive ever paid for a service. Hired her over 2.5 years ago, have gottin one meeting with my son. Paid out few thousand for drug testing and counseling only to be told there is nothing she can do for me. That was over three months ago and now I am waiting to be paid my remaining balance on this account. Now all of a sudden my calls are going unanswered....

Margot is an amazing lawyer and a wonderful person. Initially, my case was being handled by a different law firm; I am so lucky to have switched to Margot as my lawyer as she has all the key characteristics of a successful attorneyspecifically, she is intelligent, detail oriented, hardworking, and responsive. My marriage was atypical in that I was married in a foreign country under Islamic law. Margot did excellent research on Islamic divorce and was able to effectively argue on my behalf in front of the judge. Whenever I would talk with Margot, I truly felt heard. In front of the judge, I felt that I had a true advocate and felt calm. Do not get fooled by the big law firms. Many of these firms do not care for their clients or even worse do not seek their best interest (such as by prolonging the case or having less capable associates handle the research/trial). Margot is the real dealshe is an exceptional, caring, and honest lawyer.
