        Came in for a teeny tiny cavity on my front tooth. Since this was for my front tooth, I didnt mind the pricey doctor and paying before my insurance did. I keep a close eye on my teeth so I know the cavity was brand new when I came. The doc fixed the cavity by drilling away half of my tooth. I believe this was beyond excessive for basically a non existent cavity. Following this, for 6 months I suffered extreme sensitivity in that tooth to the point a root canal had to be done. I was having off and on days with the pain. My off days had me sobbing on the floor with a splitting headache. I called the office and they told me this was normal and to use Sensodyne. Ive never had sensitive teeth, but for 6 months I carried a straw everywhere I went. My endodontist says I had severe damage to my nerves. I now have a fake front tooth in my 30s. I wish I had done my research.
