Dr. Lukavsky has been the trusted trusted doctor for both my parents over the course of several years. Consequently, when I began experiencing high blood pressure problems, it was only natural to seek his expertise. I was thoroughly impressed by the considerable amount of time he dedicated to discussing my condition and formulating a comprehensive strategy for prompt resolution. Dr. Lukavsky's inclination towards a personalized approach with each and every one of his patients is truly commendable. I am resolute in my decision to entrust my healthcare needs to him for the foreseeable future.

Very kind and thorough doctor that goes above and beyond. One of the things I like the most is Dr. Luke really listens to you as a patient. He does not rush in and out of the office!! He gives you his honest opinion but let's you decide. One of a kind.

I was so impressed at my first visit with Dr. James Lukavsky! After 3 doctors under Coxs disorganized authority, I finally found one who left Cox (much to my pleasure and for at least the one reason I knew why, I agreed with also). I was telling everyone how I finally found a one-of-a-kind doctor who was on the same page as I about few meds and our faith. However, my 2nd visit was for a physical and I became uncomfortable. (As a previous business owner, I probably expect more than a lot of people. Also, I am old enough to have lived during decades when customer service was an excellent experience. So what bothered me may be of no bother to you.) After visiting and chatting with Dr. Lukavsky for (I am only guessing) around 20 minutes, I happened to mention I was there for a physical. He said if you dont mind, he doesnt have time today and could we reschedule. I said O.K. and he left the room shortly thereafter. A girl finally came in the room and handed me (what I call a piece of scratch paper) about or 1/3 of a regular sheet of 8 x 10 paper. On one side was a list of things for diabetics with 2 items highlighted. She told me since I am not diabetic, I only needed to adhere to the 2 highlighted items. ?? On the other side of the same piece of paper was printed in small letters, other information for me. I believe God wants us to be frugal but seriously, I cant have my own sheet of paper and it cant be typed out? I liked Dr. Luke a lot so I tried to overlook it all even though it made me uncomfortable. After digesting my rescheduled appointment for the slightly nerve-wracking, personal, physical the next a couple of days, I decided to call the office and ask for the nurse. I had a question about it and the meds Dr. Luke prescribed for me. Sue, the front office lady who answers the phone, asked if she could help me (after I had asked for a nurse). I had seen a review before I ever visited the first time of someone who had a run in with her and they considered her rude. Therefore, even though I didnt appreciate her asking me (instead of just leaving a message for the nurse to call me), I said, one of the things I wanted to ask the nurse is about the meds Dr. Luke prescribed (and told her my question about it). She proceeded to give me an answer. I said, O.K. and told her I will wait to hear back from the nurse for the other. A week went by so I called and asked Sue if she knew why I had not heard from the nurse. She said, "No". I said, "I would like to cancel my appointment then for my physical." She said, "O.K." and we hung up. Sadly, I dont plan to go back unless it is absolutely necessary. My health and well-being is important (and besides, Im what helps pay everyones paycheck in that office). I dont need to feel dismissed and dont need a control-freak-gatekeeper at my doctors office. She may even be the one who gets the reviews and it won't change anything. This is obviously not the first patient who has had a problem with her. I saw another review that was by a Sue but don't know the last name of the one at Dr. Luke's office.
