2024 We learned about Mike and his team from Dave Ramsey. We have been with Alliance Financial & Income Tax for several years now. This has been the best experience getting our taxes done. Julie is great too. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. We do everything on line now. How easy is that? They look for everything to get you the best possible tax return. You can trust Mike & his team. I think Mike is still a Financial Coach with Dave Ramsey too. That's a plus too. Thanks

Alliance Financial/Mike did a great job for our 2023 tax returns. It was timely and very professional. We will definitely be going back next year.

I have been a client for several years. I have always told people "my tax guy is better than yours" and recommended people switch... well, that is no longer the case. 1. I am not a fan of their overly complex intake paperwork. (But, I never really have been) 2. They have a client portal... if you are filing a joint return they do give each person access to the "same account" but if documents need signed it will only show the document to "the most active email" although they do not communicate that to you... so if you are only checking through one email, log in... you will have paid them and think you have completed all of their required paperwork... and think they have filed your return... when, in fact, they have not. Their system will send several reminder emails for you to start your taxes or especially for payment, but they will not send emails if you still need to sign documents, in order for them to actually file your return. When I called to figure out what was going on, they chose to be defensive and was only looking for a way it was not their fault, instead of trying to find a reasonable solution. I feel like... if you are trying to offer clients a way to do business electronically, you should be just as concerned about conducting that business seemlessly as you are with in person appointments. As a veteran family, we are all about supporting veteran owned businesses because we find they are usually all about doing business the right way and are good people in general. I have never had any major issues before this tax year, and Mike has always worked through any complaints we had with a solution as the goal. I will always be a fan of a business that is always striving to be better. Apparently, this has dynamic has changed, and they have so much business that they can afford to tell clients they understand if we want to use someone else next tax year. It's the "difficult" clients that typically make you a better business... not the easy ones... the "difficult" ones are speaking up, trying to let you know there is a problem. The quiet ones will just leave and not say a word... how many quiet ones would you be able to keep if the "difficult" ones are dismissed and treated like they are so easily replaced? I will say I have not spoken directly with Mike, but I did try to reach out to him via email like he requested last year when he said please leave a good Google review and if you feel you cannot please send me an email first. That was when I was just not a fan of the paperwork. I left a good Google review then sent an email because I didn't feel like the intake paperwork was enough to diminish a rating on Google. But... Mike did not respond to that email so I doubt he will be concerned with my current feedback on the way they are doing business. Hopefully, they still file my return today... like promised... and don't find a way to delay it and say it's our fault. :/
