Affton Veterinary Clinic is the best! We have been taking our dogs there since it opened. Dr. Brooks is the most caring and compassionate vet I have ever met and she takes wonderful care of our beloved pets. She is very thorough and knowledgeable and explains everything. Any questions are always answered. Her staff is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My pets feel at ease with them. They also have a special room dedicated to the time when unfortunately you have to say goodbye to a beloved family member. There is no cold, sterile table. It is comfortable, quiet and private, much like a room you would have in your home, with a separate entrance/exit to make the experience as painless as possible. You are never rushed and Dr. Brooks is understanding and grieves right along with you as you say goodbye. She provides a paw print and a personalized note when the ashes are returned. I honestly hope I never have to find a new veterinary clinic because none can compare in my opinion. I would not hesitate to recommend Affton Veterinary Clinic to anyone seeking compassionate care for their pets.
