Motel 6 Vicksburg, MS

The room was very clean. Plenty of towels and good water pressure. The cost was a bit higher than I expected. Normally M6 is around $60 for me, but this was $80. That was my only disappointment. Me and the grandson always look for the M6 when it's time to make a stop for the night.

When I walked in lobby and smelled week should have turned around and walked out. The room had a horrible smell Just pay a little more and go somewhere else to stay

The room smelled horrible like a mix or cannabus, a vap shoppe and fabreeze mixed together. The linen was dingy and bed mattresses were worn out and lop sided and when we turned on the light 2 roaches or some kind of insect scurried across the bed. The bathroom mirror had mildew or some kind of discoloration all over it. The hotel lobby is is terrible condition with the carpet on the 2 stairways inside the lobby entrance is worn and extremely damaged and torn...while the management was very friendly and explained that it was under construction, there was no construction or evidence of construction or repair/remodeling going on anywhere I saw...the pavement in the parking lots needs repair and whatever church/steamship replica at the edge of parking lot is an eyesore(run down, weeds growing out of it). It appears there was at some point a Putt putt course(mini golf) on one side of building at it was overgrown with vegetation and in disrepair, clearly not being used....It was just terrible and I hate that my son had to see it and I should've just left and not checked in but since we were getting up early I just thought we'd tough it out....oh the management didn't know how to pull up our reservation...I had to help them....Look I get it, Motel 6 is not the Waldorf or 5 star swanky hotel but I've stayed in Motel 6's all my life and with out of doubt this was the worse "Chain" motel experience ever.
