The Historic Klondyke Trading Post

We stopped off of I 20 to find a local place with good reviews. When we pulled up it was the biggest dump of a restaurant Ive ever seen and its very much a dump on the inside too. There is something of a buffet (not a fan) and we would have walked out but the waitress told us there was a menu. We ordered hamburger, shrimp poboy and onion rings. It came with a fountain drink. The sandwiches and onion rings were very good. My fountain coke was a little off-maybe too much syrup. But it is just a dive bar that sells food. I wouldnt go back, just too dumpy for me. The bathroom was scary too.

Best Buger I've ever had!! The fried green tomatoes were very good. Must try at least once. I know I'll be back.

Well we had a good time here and our food was really good . I'm glad we stopped in. We will definitely be back . As the burgers were super good and the fried okra was hot and crispy.

The absolute best Onion Rings since Mr. Cooks Restaurant on the corner of Hope & Clay St. Back in the day....
