Mulberry Vicksburg

By far the best hotel we have stayed in. Everything was perfect after coming from a horrible experience from another hotel in town. This was a emergency checkin and couldn't have asked for a better location and the nicest people. Cleanest hotel ever and very close to all downtown entertainment and food! Will definitely be back!

From the moment I entered the lobby, I felt like I was in a dream. The service was exceptional and the ambiance was amazing. As a former stewardess, I have stayed in many hotels in many cities and this one is at the top of my list. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The only thing I missed was breakfast but with McDonalds close by it was no real problem. It is definitely my home in Vicksburg from now on.

No way is this hotel a 4 star! Nobody at front desk at checkin or even at 9 am in morning! No phone to ask for anything. No ice in ice machine. Would look elsewhere to stay! Picture of pool totally inaccurate. No water over the dirt in bottom of pool!

If I could leave a negative star I most definitely would. This is the WORST hotel I have ever been in. The room smelled like dirty feet, had a view of a power station and a sliver of the muddy river. I turned the AC down to 64 as it was humid and musty in the room. It made a slight noise a few times, but no air came out. So call someone you say? Well, there are no phones in the room to call about anything. So we woke up looking forward to having our two cups of coffee and leaving the stench behind us. Well, there was only one regular coffee in a double room. So I go downstairs to get more. Surely for this price they have a coffee pot downstairs. Nahh!! They have every kind of alcohol known to man, but no coffee. Finally, at 930 I find housekeeping who informs me if I want more regular coffee I have to purchase it downstairs. There are soooo many more things I could say, so please do yourself a favor and stay at the Bates Motel instead. Oh, and one more thing don't use the mayonnaise in the bottles on the tables...they are a permanent fixture.
