Awesome shopping experiences here, store is always clean, staff is ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. You can't go wrong here

Store was supposed to be open until 8:00 pm but was closed at 7:50. I only needed one item and could have purchased it and been out of the store in less than 5 minutes. Two employees were standing at the front of the store talking. One of the employees came to the door and was very rude, unnecessarily. She said Were closed as she looked at her phone. I asked (through the locked glass doors) why they closed early. Her reply was Were closed. I again asked why they closed early and she said No one was in the store so they closed. The entire time the employee continually kept looking at her phone. When I requested to speak to a manager the employee said something that I believe is a good thing I didnt understand! The manager came to the door and said I pull the tills at 5 minutes before close ( my thoughts and I said to her - then why do you have posted on the door and online that the store is open until 8!!) When I called the corporate office the next day a representative supposedly took the information and offered me a $25 gift certificate as part of an apology gesture. I never received that nor a confirmation of our phone call. I called again 4 days later to inquire and there was no record of my call however the $25 was in my wallet online and I merely needed to set up an account. I did not want an account with them and asked that the certificate be emailed or mailed to me to no avail. I was told they dont have means to do such. This store (Southaven, MS) was one of my favorite places to shop for years. NOT anymore. My last five experiences in this store have not been pleasant ( I was told they didnt have an item I was looking for and then found it myself; I went to purchase an item on sale in their mail out the same day I received the ad only to be told they didnt have it, have never had it and were not going to get it; that type thing repeatedly which made shopping there not only a bad experience but a waste of time. Such a shame!! This pattern began before Covid by the way ( I have exercised much more patience and understanding for businesses since Covid with the full understanding that it is currently next to impossible to hire anyone and especially quality employees). When the District Supervisor information was requested, the store employee claimed they are not allowed to give out that information and never offered to have the Distict Supervisor call me but that I would need to call the corporate office. That was equivalent to telling someone that burned their finger that the remedy would be to put their whole hand in the fire!!

Went in looking for high thread count sheets for our 18-wheeler...these sheets feel like butter! A great upgrade from what we did have.

Pretty decent selection of items. Couldn't find what we needed exactly but ended up buying a few other items. I guess they are still trying to recover/restock from Christmas. Definitely worth stopping in and taking a look around.
