In July of 22 I was admitted to Baptist DeSoto with COVID. I have an extensive history of cardiovascular disease as well as COPD. My cardiologist of over 21 years no longer practices in Mississippi. To say his "shoes" were going to be hard to fill, is an understatement.
By luck of the draw I was assigned a cardiologist from Sterns, Dr Shankho Ganguli. I had to reschedule my most recent appointment several times due to issues on my end, they were very gracious about rescheduling both times.
When I was finally able to make my appointment I went to the wrong building first, so I was late. The office handled that without even batting an eye. Every person was kind and considerate from the front desk of both buildings and all the way up until actually seeing Dr Ganguli, which was about a 30 minute wait.
Dr Ganguli made me feel both heard, respected, and not rushed. He answered my questions with considerate detail. I left feeling great about my new cardiologist!
I would highly recommend Dr Ganguli and Sterns Cardiovascular

The nurse who assisted Mrs. Dorothy White today 9/18 at 1:30 was very rude to her and I do not appreciate that at all. Someone needs to speak to her about her conduct as the long blond haired lady mentioned she hadn't been working there long. I am very disappointed that I cannot trust professional medical staff to offer my 85 year old grandma at least a DECENT experience. Get your staff together. Seriously.

Dr Patels staff doesn't care about patients and not helpful at all. Couldn't get them to get a test scheduled because I had plenty of time - took over 6weeks to schedule. I was supposed to have my results on the test back before I got the test scheduled. Tried to schedule a follow appointment and it would be more than a month. Wouldn't let me change doctors in the same office.
