Beautiful park allowing access to the Mississippi River in a natural state...no buildings, no bridges, just you and the river like it was before man. Also, there's a huge sandbar (up to 3/4 mile wide and 2 miles long) that appears from summer to fall when the river is at lower levels...after about 40 or 50 feet into the sandbar, no mosquitos!
