Outrageous that you have to pay $455.00 to pay to get your light and water on! This is insane and ROBBERY! Thats like 4 months of utilities bills! Even if youve never had a bill with them, INSANE . ROBBERY!

They make mistakes and expect us to fix them. Well my thing is if you make a mistake you should fix it. whats on the statement should be what we owe but they don't see it that way. they messed up my bill and told me i have to pay 300.00 more. they never read the meter because i have dogs as they say but they don't worry about the dogs when they snatch the meter off.. smh. my bill was 549.00 and when i went to pay it they told me owed them 877.00 . i told them i was paying what was on my bill and the manager(Stokes) said if you don't pay that 300.00 by 8 A.M Tomorrow morning you will be disconnected. well it was 7:58 A.M. when the PU guy was at my house sitting there! @ 8:00 A.M. they pulled my lights!!! The bank wasn't even opened yet!! So I know that she did that on purpose.. There are some really cruel and mean people at Philadelphia Utilities! With no understanding.. Basically they can do whatever they want with the bill and we still have to pay it no matter if its right or wrong!!
