Rankin County Health Department

they refuse to take out my birth control in my arm and its 6 months expired, doctor said she placed it wrong and is uncomfortable taking it out now everywhere charges me hundreds of dollars to remove.

Not helpful at all! I just needed one simple vaccine and was given the run around and even told to go to Kroger pharmacy or to hinds county health department (even though I live in Rankin Co. ) I pray that I never need their service again!! Horrible experience

It was really great. there did seem to be some communication issue, however; my nurse was super awesome, and I wasn't nearly as nervous when I left versus when I got there (I have pretty bad anxiety) but I was made very confortable.

One of the worst experiences ever at a health dept. I was told by staff Tuesday of last week to come in on Friday after one for an appointment, I call as on am driving to rankin to the health dept and they tell me that there is no availability. I then ask why I was told to come if I wasnt able to be seen. Then was met with a TON of attitude from staff. I call to make an appointment so I dont have to deal with the cancellation again and when I get there I dont get seen for 45 mins to get one immunization. I am then told to wait up front for my records to be printed. I go to the window and ask about my records and are told they havent been printed. As I am walking back to my chair I gesture at my grandmother because I was upset. I then have a staff member ask if I am unhappy (I WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT HAPPY). This place goes on their own time at their own pace and with their very happy demeanor.

I went to Rankin county health department and pearl for one shot for my daughter school they told me August 18 next appointment And the school start before the 18th I work seven days 12 hours a day so I can provide for my kids and the department of health told me that they cant do nothing about it its not a private clinic that clinic belong to the people for one shot I have to wait almost 2 weeks
