Rude, always confrontational, and constantly playing the blame game. I have rented for the past 10 years and have never encountered an experience such that Rebel Realty and Pamela herself provide. Repairs are slow played and blame is placed upon tenant. And will pull $100 out of your deposit at the drop of a hat for anything she feels like (including but not limited to replacing 2 week old air filers, maintaining portions of lawn not maintained by previous tenants nor specified to be maintained at any point, AC repairs, I could go for days). Long story short, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Pamela is by far the worst landlord Ive ever had. Every issue we encountered she somehow tried to turn it around and make it our fault. Despite paying a ridiculous amount of rent, it was incredibly difficult to get any repairs done and we even had to pay for some. She is incredibly rude to the point we tried to avoid at all costs. Rent from anyone else!

Pamela is the worst property manager I have encountered in 20 years. She has poorly maintained properties, is not responsive to renter issues, is extremely confrontational and not at all helpful. I needed a rental for 6 mos in Oxford and unfortunately ended up in one of her properties. She charged ridiculously high rent, was not at all responsive when the wind blew and pilot light went out on the water heater (an ancient 20 year old unit) and wanted me to light it myself and then accused me of burning her appliance with a match! This is physically impossible to do with a match and even the workmen who came to finally replace the unit said she was terrible and cheap to deal with. I asked for a walk through on my departure and she refused and then charged me $400 for washing bed linens in the 3 bedrooms upstairs that were never even used! She also trumped up charges for other issues (eg power washing the garage and patio, that I did not use) and a charge for reorganizing her dishes that I had put away because I was not going to use them. Terrible situation. Stay clear of Pamela Roberson and Rebel Realty. She is an argumentative and confrontational terrible landlord whos is best to avoid if at all possible.

I am a homeowner and called to inquire about service. The person that answered the phone was extremely rude. She advised she was"Rebel Realty" and then hung up on me. I have been in the long term management business in another state for 20 plus years and I would never speak to a client they way I was spoken to. She quoted information that was completely erroneous and was extremely unprofessional.

We rented a unit in Esplanade Ridge for two years in Oxford, Mississippi for our daughter's junior, and senior year at Ole Miss. The Rebel Realty property manager, Pamela Roberson, did not make this a pleasant experience whatsoever. We were aware going into this rental that this unit was very outdated and rundown.....which we had no problem with. These are just a few examples: Unfortunately, every time we had an issue in the unit or needed help on Pamela's end, we were always met with adversity and confrontation. Pamela is very quick to blame the "college student" for not taking care of their place. We went back-and-forth with Pamela for almost a year in regard to mold in the dishwasher. My daughter acquired acute nose bleeds and several hundreds of dollars in medical bills. Pamela had someone come out several times to "clean it" and continue to blame the girls for not rinsing out their dishes...(which made absolutely no sense). The girls stopped using the dishwasher for a good 6-7 months before moving out. Finally, Pamela decided to replace the coils in the bottom of the dishwasher rather than replace the dishwasher for a mere $300-$400, Total waste of time. This was an absolute Band-Aid versus a solution to the problem. Coincidentally, In another situation, the girls were having a horrible time opening and turning their front door handle to get in/out of their home. Pamela chose to take at least 45 days with different opinions and suggestions of how they should be turning their door handle before she admitted the door knob was broken/stripped and just needed to be replaced.......like we asked her to do from the beginning. She tends to waste a lot of time arguing and pinpointing problems on the college student versus just fixing the problem and moving on....which could save all of us a lot of time and money. I do believe this property manager has possibly been dealing with college students for too long and tends to never give them the benefit of the doubt and is quick to blame them for most of the issues versus the reality that these units are old, outdated, and need some TLC which she seems unwilling to do. I believe she is doing these homeowners a disservice as their property manager. Nine out of 10 times her emails or texts are curt and rude. I am a homeowner in Tampa, Florida and in addition, I have two personal vacation homes in Useppa Island, Florida and Charlevoix, Michigan. We do not rent out our homes but over these two years, Pamela has taught me all of the characteristics to look for in NOT hiring someone to represent my home. Pamela is not a team player. She is not a problem solver. She is a finger pointer. She is definitely not an advocate of the Ole Miss students living in the properties whose parents are paying her "property manager" fee. To all of the Oxford, Mississippi (homeowners) looking for a rental property manager.....for your own peace of mind , do your due diligence and google search your property managers history; personal and professional, before you hire a them!!!. It will give you very clear insight as to character and integrity.
