My 16 year old son joined the program 2 months ago . He is enjoying the training and learning new skills each session . Coaching staff really made him feel welcome . Keep up the good work. 7/2024

I started jiu-jitsu September of last year 23 I was 49 years old in July 24.I turned 50. Ive been doing this almost 10 months now and it is one of the best decisions Ive ever made in my life. It is very humbling not something you can take for granted something you have to work at. that being said everyone at Shackelfords MMA They all have a good attitude. Everyone is so helpful. I highly recommend giving it a try. No matter what your age is, if you think you can do it, you can do it. Cameron Haynes is a book author and a very smart man in his book. He says very often work harder nobody cares I live by this every day. Hes right I dont care how hard you work how much time you put in nobody cares but you!

I was lucky to experience this facility, the super nice staff and those who were still learning. Day 1 I was super nervous, but it was easily overcome by everyone who welcomed me and included me in learning techniques. As a newby and a female, they encouraged me to learn at my speed until I became comfortable, and I appreciated that. I highly recommend any class to any gender that wants to learn Self- Defense, get in shape, discipline or have fun. Btw, don't mind the strange guy in the corner, lol.

Shackelfords MMA Center is a great place to learn hands on and visual technique from professionals of the many martial arts. The energy of the gym is great, everyone is respectful, and mindful of their female teammates comfortably. Though my personal favorite fighting style is jiu jitsu, I would like to give a shoutout to kickboxing instructor Keiton for his excellent teaching and top notch skills in striking. Thank for making my first time training at the gym a great one.
