My family and I came to Natchez for the Spring Pilgrimage of the Antebellum homes. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights at Excellence Inn and Suites. Our room was extremely clean. The staff was very courteous and fast to meet our requests for items such as extra pillows/towels, etc. The breakfast offered from 6-9am was delicious every morning with a wide variety of breakfast food options. We have been within 8 minutes of downtown, Walmart, and all the other stores.
Rooms: The rooms were immaculate. We were extremely impressed. There are no overhead lights,but there are several lamps. The TV had lots of channels and was large. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee pot with hotel provided coffee in the room.
Nearby activities: Within 8 minutes, all of these places/activities are available: Downtown Natchez and all of the Antebellum homes, St. Mary's Basilica, horse carriage rides, thrift stores, boutique shops, excellent restaurants, even bars
Safety: My family and I felt very safe here. It was quiet and the staff was very courteous.
Walkability: Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Walgreens and a gas station are within walking distance, as well as restaurants such as Taco Bell, A Japanese hibachi grill and KFC.
Food & drinks: There is an ice machine and vending machine in the property. Also, the breakfast offered from 6-9am offers pancakes, cereal, biscuits, gravy, grits, sausage, muffins, yogurt, milk, orange juice, coffee, and fruit.

The hotel was clean, staff were pleasant and very accommodating. I enjoyed the stay at this hotel.
