We stayed in Aunt Clara's Cottage and it was wonderful. Angela, our host was amazing; and Becky, our breakfast host was also. The food was excellent and they catered to our specific needs. We hope to go back.

This is a most delightful place to stay in Natchez. It is Victorian, not antebellum, but still uniquely Southern. There are three properties for lodging. We stayed in Aunt Clara's Cottage. There is a full Southern breakfast each morning with complementary soft drinks and water to sustain a full day of touring. Our room was quiet and comfortable. You can walk to the Mississippi River and follow the trail into the historic downtown area.

My husband and I had the greatest experience of getting married at Devereaux Shields House. Everything was better than we could have imagined. Angela was so wonderful and on top of everything and made our wedding totally stress free. The home we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We loved the bed and breakfast experience. Neither one of us had stayed at one before and we couldn't get over how wonderful it was. The breakfast was so delicious both mornings and we loved the people we met and sat with both mornings. Angela suggested the best place for us to dine, Magnolia Grill. Awesome place. We met both Eleanor and Ron the owners who were so nice. The photographer and preacher they suggested were wonderful. I can't say enough, how much we enjoyed everything about our stay. We are coming back for our 1 year anniversary. I can't wait! You won't regret staying here. Best experience ever!

Our family of 4 had a lovely overnight stay at the Devereaux Shields House! We were greeted by hostess, Angela, and given the lay of the land. Shortly after, we met Eleanor and Ron, who were very friendly. The accommodations were wonderful and we felt like we stepped back in time. We had 2 upstairs rooms and private bathroom, which were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast the next morning was DELISH!! The peach french toast even won over the teenager! The fruit was fresh and delicious, the twisted bacon was a fun experience! Also, the coffee outside the room in the AM was a nice touch! The staff, servers and head cook were all so friendly! The Southern hospitality of this area is not common where we are in California, so it was a welcome surprise!

We enjoyed a good breakfast each morning served by friendly staff. The rooms were serviced daily. We received information regarding tours and restaurants. It was a convenient, safe location with parking.
Safety: We felt very safe in this neighborhood.
Food & drinks: Breakfasts were different each day and all delicious. Coffee was available at 7 AM for early risers.
