Church's Texas Chicken - CLOSED

The food was good, but they need to be competent enough to get the order right. If they could get the order that we pay for right, it wouldve been way better.

Tonight I was working for DoorDash and received 2 orders to pick up at Churches Chicken. I went to the store and the front door was locked (with no sign stating why). I went back to my vehicle and went to the sign. I waited there for several minutes and said hello multiple times with no response. I then pulled around to the window and there was no one in sight. I stayed there a few minutes and still no one. I pulled forward and saw a male sitting inside. I mouthed to him Are they open? and he threw up his hands like he had no clue. I then tried to go in through the door beside the drive through. No one in sight. The male in the lobby then yelled theres someone at the counter. I hear someone say welcome to churches chicken but cant see anyone so I assume they are taking an order for the drive through. They then said it again and I said Im at the front counter. A girl then stands up from the chair she was sitting in behind the food warmers and said you dont have to get an attitude. The interaction only got worse and I eventually ended up having to cancel the 2 DoorDash orders I was there to pick up due to the employees being incompetent to run a store.

At 1230 pm my chicken was overcooked. Tasted like oil needs changing. Many tables dirty. Ear of corn was good though

I love my some churches but the one time I've ever gone to this the chicken was disappointing. The outside was soo greasy, I know fried chicken is greasy but it's like they served a side of oil with it and the chicken was dry as ill get out. The chicken tasted like they fried it again since it could have been sitting out for a long time , which could explain why it came with a side of oil.
