Guillot Construction LLC

We first contacted Guillot Construction about 10 days ago. Jonathan Guillot immediately arranged an appointment with us. When he arrived, we discussed our project with him. Jonathan is a knowledgeable professional with a good sense of humor. When he left, he promised to email a proposal for the job. We accepted his bid and his first crew arrived a couple days later. They finished the job in 3-4 days. The work was well-done and the crew was respectful. We were pleased with the results. The next crew came over a day or two later and , once again, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the workmanship and the professional demeanor of the workers. The third and final crew came over this morning and also did a great job. When looking for a reliable contractors to complete our project, we searched for those with outstanding reviews and Guillot Construction seemed to be the best of the best and we certainly agree!

Great business to work with. Appreciate the patience in the time I reworked the request many times before settling on current project, with remaining projects to be completed later. (Very used to the opposite. Presenting the company with a large project, and if funding did not allow, they are normally not interested in doing a smaller job or separate smaller projects. Guillot had no issue doing this) Entire front door frame was reworked and painted, after pulling loose bricks above the door (we were unaware they were loose until Jonathan pointed it out) and totally repainted, and a new storm door installed. This together with the repairing of the front garage door frame makes the appearance from the front of the house make this look "like new." Side door frame completely reworked and replaced with better trim. This had been written up in 2 prior house inspections from previous owners. And installed a great new storm door! Wood attic stairs that were almost 30 years old were replaced with new aluminum stairs. Much safer. Finally, the old shed that had rotted through the years at the top by the roof line was completely repaired. Support beams were shored up, half the roof (the rotted part) was cut out and replaced and new tiles installed, new doors replaced up front and siding installed all around. The only thing left for me was sanding and painting the trim. The shed looks better than ever! Thanks to this great company that listened prior, listened during construction if we had questions, did quality work in the time estimated, and the main worker Jeff did not slouch. He is a very gifted all around worker and would not quit early, sometimes staying late until he was at a point he felt comfortable breaking at. Can't wait to do the next project when funds allow!

Very professional in conducting business. Kept my wife and I informed on what was being done and if there were any issues that popped up during our porch/ soffit repairs. Pricing was reasonable. Guillotine construction was very professional and the men working on the job were the best that I could ask for. The job was done in an excellent manor and they were excellent to be around. I will recommend this company very highly and would use them again in a heart beat.
