Great bbq stand, right next to Loves. I ordered a two meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. I got coleslaw and baked beans for my included sides. I paid $20 for the food. Meat was great. Tender, succulent, delicious. Both were lean with just the right amount of fat for my taste and preferences. Not a lot of seasoning either, so very meaty. Sides were okay. The coleslaw had too much mayonnaise for my taste; very creamy. I prefer a balanced mix of mayonnaise and vinegar. The baked beans were good. Flavorful and a little spicy, had some peppers in it. The bread roll was bad. I think it was one of those frozen types. Id recommend just giving out cheap white bread. BBQ sauce tasted store-bought; if its homemade, I cant tell. Traditional sweet style, like Sweet Baby Rays. Honestly, they should pair the meat with a vinegar-based sauce, like Carolina-style, to help balance the richness of the meat. That would be insanely good. Service was great, ladies were very nice. I didnt stay and eat but the seating and environment was good. They didnt have all the sides and drinks on the menu available; no big deal to me though. I will be back for more. I would probably just go for the meat by the pound and skip the sides next time.
