The director of the SPB needs an overhaul their Customer Support Team because of their interpersonal behavior. They talk to individuals calling in for help as if they are toddlers and have very disrespectful tones. I called in to see why I wasn't receiving email notifications of positions I applied for, nor when I had been referred to a hiring agency, the representative said, "I don't know why you haven't been receiving them," and immediately rushed me off the phone. This should not be acceptable and tolerated by this agency's executive.

Moved here over a year ago, had a state job in previous state for 13 years have good experience. I've applied for over 100 jobs yes 100 not one interview. Very interesting. Something very bias is going on.

you must be part of a fraternity/sorority to get a decent paying position with the state or you will get pennies per year salary.

Like many others I to have applied to several jobs via this organization's website. The majority of applications I was given the standard "has been sent to the hiring agency to be reviewed." One position offering employment as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. Ended up being filled roughly two days after I submitted my application. Several applications I never heard a peep about. One that led to an interview was for a Benefit Program Specialist. I stayed on top of it. Visting the location several times. And had an interview with a couple of my potential managers. At the time I was recovering from a broken pinkie and was down on my luck having been rejected from many other careers. The interview went swimmingly well was told I would be contacted aothin two weeks. The weeks came and went not a word. Emailed the man I interviewed with and he thanked me for my time. Before rejecting me. Do not use this site or organization if you can avoid it. It is an exercise in futility.

I applied for a job, and had an interview about a month later. The interview went well, and I was told that I was hired, and after the paperwork had been processed I would be starting the following month. I shook hands with my future boss, and thanked them for having faith in me that I could do the job. Two weeks later I receive an email that I didn't qualify for the job, and that I wouldn't be hired. Some pencil pusher with the state personnel board who didn't even sit in with my interview decided to take it upon themself to decide I wasn't qualified for a job even after it had already been decided by my potential future boss that I was qualified for the position. Do not trust these people. There's a reason the state is understaffed everywhere, and this is just one example of why they can't fill these positions. Unqualified pencil pushers who think they know what agencies need when they really don't have a clue because they themselves don't qualify to execute the duties of their job.
