I would give you zero Stars if I could for some reason it charges you an extra $3.34 plus the $3 online fee to purchase license online 10 + 3 is 13 not 16.39 you ought to be ashamed of yourselves straight up stealing from people

Would be awesome if the MDFW would start a sharelunker program similar to what Texas does. That way our waters would be full of bigger and better quality fish. Who doesn't love to hold and release 10+lb bass? Sure would be cool if y'all would.

On Friday August 31, 2018 I purchased a fresh and saltwater fishing license at Academy in Gulfport. Since I am 74 years old, I purchased the lifetime license. I have my receipt (Receipt #800230627) for purchasing this license, but never received my plastic fishing license to present to a Game Warden if asked. Upon calling the MDWFP. I was informed that they cannot send me a plastic license unless I purchase a new license. I thought this was a life time license and I would not have to purchase the license again. The lady at the license office was not helpful at all and her supervisor was even worse. Is this how Mississippi treats it Senior Citizens? Which part of "You only have to buy this license once" did she not understand?

I had the opportunity to visit this department and was amazed! The lobby is so inviting and they also have a waterfall that is decorated with grass, bear, etc on the lower floor. I contacted Fisheries about 4 weeks ago to find out which fish are best suited for my pond. I spoke with Mr. Riecke who was very helpful and he also explained everything I needed to do in great detail. Plus, emailed materials that I could read on how to maintain pond. There is also a trail behind the building. I am not sure how long it is because didnt have time to walk. I highly recommended MDWFP for all your outdoor needs.
