I was visiting Jackson last week and got all of my meals from this restaurant. Everything was so delicious, and the people who work here are really friendly and helpful. I got the pasta with pecans, mac and cheeze, okra, and cauliflower. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Mississippi!

Absolutely amazing! Passing through Jackson and found this gem. Finding quality plant based food is a challenge while on the road (particularly in the south)! As we read through their mission statement, we were incredibly excited to try the food and it did not disappoint. Upon entering we were kindly welcomed by the owner/chef's mother who was so helpful and nice (and also so very proud of her son). The food is simply amazing! We arrived on a Saturday so the special of the day was a spaghetti and it was simply incredible! The portion sizes are incredibly generous. For my sides, I chose the greens and the coconut corn. Both were absolute perfection. My husband chose the beans and greens and was equally impressed. We both enjoyed the spelt bread. We were so pleased to see desserts as well, all plant based and without refined sugars. Everything we had here was of the highest quality and the prices were very fair. We had a chance to speak with the chef/owner. He has a admirable mission and vision for his restaurant. Not only is he a talented chef, but also an herbalist and sells natural herbal remedies next door. We were so very impressed with the restaurant and if ever in the area again, we will be stopping in. We wish the owner continued success in all he is doing. Highly recommend everyone stop in for this amazing food!

Just average that's all.. Very inconsistent! .. selling burnt food.. selling old food... It's hit and miss, with many misses. I swear someone is letting their 7 yr old experiment with cooking, then they sell it to the public.SMH P.S. Oh! And OVER PRICED for sure. Portions are small. *************REPLY TO OWNER:: No, this is not a fake review, nor a fake page. I'm not quick to gIve bad reviews so I WAITED AFTER SEVERAL VISITS. (Please don't be ignorant, one does not have to make a review the same day of visit duuuh.) Sweetie just because the other reviews are different means absolutely nothing. That's common actually as many have bad experiences n just don't write about it. ****I stand by my assessment. Those were MY experiences there..after a FEW VISITS, not just one. ACCEPT it. And for your information i DID try to talk to management n the girl insisted the owner was unavailable AND she was very rude.. POOR customer service! P.S. I see where she gets it from. Your response confirms what I said as I drove home that day : "these people cannot take criticism n do not handle complaints properly" arrogant and unprofessional, hence your reply. Instead of 'I'm sorry u experienced that... (AND 2 Others agree as I wasn't always buying for myself alone.) AGAIN, I stand by every word I've typed concerning my VISITS there (plural). Best wishes!

I was with a couple of friends, on from the local area and they suggested Meals that Heal for an early lunch. The person behind the counter was helpful and informative about the options available. The owner opened up the outside seating area and we all enjoyed the healthy food and drink they supplied. I am not very informed about food, but I am concerned that a lot of meal options from places to eat contain highly processes, sugar loaded meal options, and to be frank, I often look at a take-out menu and leave because "I can't find anything to eat!". Meals that Heal was a pleasant surprise, freshly cooked veg. A couple of pleasant surprises: Mack & Yesse, and EJ's LemonAyde. Definitely worth a visit if you want a straightforward healthy meal with colleagues or friends.
