If I could leave a negative star I would. Nobody in the entire system answers the phones. I have been calling for three weeks and holding the phone for hours. But I guess they wouldn't care since they're not the ones needing assistance. Update: finally got to talk with someone face to face and I thought everything was good. Had all my documents submitted all for them to send a notice that I'm getting cut off the day after I was approved because they are trying to force to come with someone to pay child support. That's cool but my husband has been deceased since 2015. I have sent copies of the death certificate several times and here they come again. Does anybody there really do their job? Just pathetic that people have to suffer and struggle because they clearly can't comprehend their jobs

You know whats worst than an illiterate and country staff? Ones that hate hold professional roles that require comprehension, integrity, and intelligence. However, I am not angry, because due to your stupidity I will be compensated accordingly Im making this post for anyone reading to not get frustrated with the ignorance but use it against them there are laws and policies that apply to them that they clearly are incapable of learning or comprehending have a wonderful year

This is a formal complaint against MDHS employee, Tangela Norman-Shepard. Sheppard called me on Monday, January 8th, telling me that she needed to come to my home to investigate a report that was made by the local sheriffs office. I asked her could she please explain to me whats being reported. Shepard rudely says either you meet with me or I will get the courts involved. Shepard said she could only meet me on Wednesday, January 10th at 10am . I agreed to meet with her. On Wednesday, January 10th, Shepard shows up late at 10:45 am and when she came, she was escorted by 2 sheriffs officers. Before I could welcome her into our home, she pushed her way in and asked where is my mom eating breakfast. I led her to my mom and Shepard had the 2 officers force me out of the room. Even though I was out of the room, I could still hear Shepard and the officers because they were practically yelling towards my mom and bombarded my mom with questions and asking her the same questions over and over trying to get my mom to say she wasnt safe in her home. My mom has dementia and they kept yelling at her and confusing her o where my mom felt like she was shamed for her illness. When Shepard and the officers finally decided to leave, I asked her could she give me her card and she pretty much threw it at me instead of handing it to me. Shepard said she was leaving but stopped to provoke an argument with me. I was kind to her and the officers and they were all rude. Shepard deals with sensitive case. My mom was upset and didnt even want to finish her breakfast. You have to be gentle with dementia patients and Shepard showed no form of compassion. I believe Shepard is evil-spirited and manipulative and highly disrespectful. My mom is traumatized from this experience and Im highly frustrated that Shepard was mean and hateful towards me and my mom.
