Dr. Ferguson is a thorough, caring Dr. I originally went to another Dr at this clinic, who was great, but after seeing how Dr. Ferguson was with another patient that I brought to his office, I decided to change and start seeing Dr. Ferguson. He listens, answers your questions , and does everything that he can to make sure that you are okay.

Dr. Ferguson is very knowledgeable and caring. He explains things in detail, which means a lot to me and my spouse.

The staff at this clinic is wonderful which is the only reason why I am giving more than 1 star. Dr. Ferguson was unprofessional and condescending. I went to this clinic needing a pap smear. I have a history of CSA so I was nervous about the procedure. He talked to me about it and I told him I would like to have the pap smear done because I needed it. He immediately said "No, we don't need to do anything to prove a point." Never did I say I wanted to prove a point, I simply said I felt ready to have the procedure. He then left the room, came back and told me that he "just learned" they can test for what they needed through a urine sample. Much less invasive so I agreed and gave a sample. I left the clinic thinking that I would know more about my symptoms soon. I did not hear anything back for weeks. When I reached out to the clinic about my test results, they sent me pregnancy test results. After explaining what I needed, they then informed me that there are no labs in the area to run the test he first told me about. It would have been great if he had at *any* point let me know that so I could have gone elsewhere. I wasted months waiting for this appointment and the test results that never came. Turns out I have stage 2b cervical cancer which was causing the symptoms I told him about. I started seeing an OBGYN in Jackson and I am very glad I did. If you have a history of sexual trauma or are in any way nervous about getting a pap smear, I would recommend you do not see this doctor.
