    AVOID THIS STORE! While satisfied with my T-Mobile cell phone service, I am very unhappy with customer service in this store. My intent was to swap two phone lines and purchase two phones. We entered knowing which phones and plan we wanted. I was put through the normal sales pitches of you need these accessories, insurance, etc. I expected this and they took no for an answer on almost all of the offers. When setting up the phone plan the rep informed me that because Im activating two phone lines on a premium plan, I get a third for free. I say thanks, but no thanks. I dont need or want it. She says something along the lines of It is part of the plan, it will be on your account, but cost you nothing. If you ever want it in the future it is there. I was lead to believe the line was part of the plan and declining was not an option. I was assured it would change nothing about promotions and my employer discount. She gave me an estimate on what my monthly bill would be, which was in line with what I had estimated based on my research prior to making the change. I have now received my first normal bill which was significantly higher than what I estimated and what she told me. Closer review shows the free line that was part of my plan is actually costing me $45/month. After a failed attempt at customer support, I went back into the store. The first rep was very dismissive, barely looking at a printed copy of the bill I had showing the charge. He was more entertained by watching videos on his phone than helping me. A much more attentive rep (Matt I believe) took over and actually listened to me and looked at the bill. He was equally confused about the charge. After calling customer support, it was determined that I had taken a promotion of the extra line for $10/month (NOT FREE) which could not be used with my gov employee discount. The promotion was removed and I was now paying $45 for the line less 15%. I explained to him I never wanted a 3rd line, but was told it was part of the plan and would just be there, so please cancel the line. He informed me, apologetically, that if I did that, I would lose my phone promotions and have to pay the retail price of my phones. Most likely realizing the sale tactics they use, he admitted it was a miscommunication from the rep, but because I signed the agreement there was nothing he could do. I asked if calling customer support myself would help in finding someone to make the adjustments, he said no they will just refer me back to the retail center because it was our issue. After showing him the math of the extra I was paying over the course of 2 years, $841.50, he said he would call his manager. I was offered a bill credit of $180. Ill admit that is something, but still leaves me out $661.50! Among other reasons, I swapped service for the overall savings T-Mobile offered. I am now paying significantly more than with my prior company. While I would recommend T-Mobile as a company, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS STORE. No matter which store you visit, be leery of deals they push on you. What they say is free, is most likely costing you in some way.
