There was a problem with the lock and the water company had to replace it, so they managed to rearrange the date of my payments for the service so that they could turn the water off and charge me to turn it back on. The previous payments had always been on time and being a few days late doesnt seem like a reason to suddenly turn off the water does it? More recently they had a leak in the road and dig up my yard to fix it now the meter is leaking in MY yard. What a coincidence!
