At&t internet service is pathetic!!! Outage occurs and now they want to send a technician out and charge me for it. I am looking for another internet service provider.

I moved into a new construction building in Biloxi, MS in which AT&T is the only provider for now. I have AT&T phone service and certainly would love to continue that relationship with internet access. I am being told that there is an "outside facility issue" and they are unable to install my internet. I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday, July 23, and it was cancelled (Friday, the day before the installation, after being scheduled for 8 days). The problem here, is I cannot reach anyone willing to help. I have spoken to AT&T on the phone many times. So many people I cannot begin to recall, all to no avail. I also spoke today via chat (which I can provide the transcript that explains my issue further if needed), again to no avail. Others in my same building have had their AT&T internet installed in the last week, yet, I cannot even speak to anyone local to dispatch a technician and I am told there is no timeframe for remedy. I work from home and this is my livelihood. Furthermore, I work for a Healthcare Company so I am not free to work at an establishment that offers free wi-fi. I am desperate to get some help here and I keep running up against walls. For the record, one person with whom I chatted today indicated to me that my present appointment for next Tuesday, August 2, is not going to happen either. I have been begging for some assistance in hopes that someone that has the authority to assist more than "we have no timeframe", which is what I was told today. I want to add that I originally was setup for AT&T to be installed on June 20, but that had to be cancelled due to the same reason(s). At that time, I had no choice but to contact another company, but it turns out that the other company wasn't completely set up here, so I, gladly, had to come back to AT&T. When I was scheduled for Saturday, July 23, I was assured that issues had been remedied. And again, others in my building have since been installed with AT&T.
