This property started off as a great place to live when I moved to the area. However, in the last year with property management changes, it has been a complete and utter hassle to get things done at this apartment community. I have had my apartment to flood multiple times despite my requests for new gutters, or the existing ones to be repaired so that water will not constantly flow in my apartment. I have lost furniture and a TV from flooding that was the fault of the property, and was told to just file a claim with my insurance company. I have never been able to use my dishwasher the entire time I have been here despite placing multiple work orders and being told it was completed, only to find out it still does not work. In addition to maintenance issues, the water bills were previously being serviced through City of Brandon and my bill ranged from $50-55, now the company has switched to another vendor, Conservice, and the bills are getting astronomically high! I was told to call Conservice, which I did today, and spoke with a manager. What I was told is that I am paying "estimates" every month for water because ReNew Brandon has not gotten the transponder devices installed at the property to give proper meter readings for residents. The manager at Conservice stated they had been in contact with ReNew Brandon a month ago, and nothing has yet to be scheduled to rectify the issue. My bill has now gone up to $167 for the month, and this is ridiculous! I do not understand why I am being asked to pay estimates instead of real-time charges, when all they have to do is to get the meters installed. It seems as though this property no longer cares about their residents, and thinks that we just have hundreds of extra dollars lying around to keep paying their hidden fees. When the rent was raised, there was no warning. When they added renter's insurance to our accounts, there was no notification. You login to your portal, and never know what new and unexplained charges have been added. I just want to reside in a community that has values of integrity, honesty, dependability, and who strives to seek out solutions for their residents, instead of being problems.
