I wasnt in the correct headspace to appreciate this gym when I lived in that area but now that I moved and got back into BJJ, Im beating myself up at how great this gym was. I was going about 2 or 3 years ago and this place is fantastic so much so that I felt compelled to write a review at work. I go to another gym now since I moved and this gym is good but Leo's is GREAT. All the instructors were patient (even for dumbies like me) and egos were always left at the door. I think I loved this gym even more because Leo and his wife taught more than BJJ. Indirectly I think they taught morals and values through their character. Back then if we had a hurricane, Leo and his wife would open their doors to those affected, everyone bowed to each other at the beginning and end of the session, and everyone was always met with a smile when walking in. I truly believe they they were actually happy to see you when you came to train. This place is great and Im so mad I didnt train harder back then. 10 out of 5 stars - HAWK

I took a long time to decide if I wanted to get into BJJ. I went to 4 gyms before deciding where to sign up. When I went here it all just fell into place. First of all the Delgado family are amazing people. Truly kind and they care about you. Youre not just a member. They are so patient and helpful. They want you to succeed. The instructors they have are just as amazing. One thing that caught my attention was the level of detail Mr Leo and the instructors give to the kids in their classes. It was awesome to watch. Even higher ranking other members are amazing teachers and help you at every turn. Im so glad I joined here. Truly a great place to be and to learn from. Ive been training at LDJJA since December of 2022. Hands down the best Jiu jitsu instruction Ive ever received. I cant thank the coaches and staff enough for the hospitality and their attention to detail. From beginners to championship athletes, this place perfectly caters to all skill levels. Highly recommend!!!
