Becker Landscape & Design, LLC

DO NOT hire Becker Landscape & Design, LLC. They built our retaining wall in August 2021 and it is already falling down. Their "5 year warranty" is garbage - they strung me along for over a year with promises and have now ghosted us. The owner - Caleb Becker - is a really nice man in person, but his actions suggest that he doesn't care about his customers. I also asked him to take down posts on his FB page from the job claiming us as "happy customers" (as that is no longer true) and instead of complying, he blocked me from his page, which says a lot. I rarely write reviews at all, let alone like this and don't love doing so, but I don't want any of my neighbors or friends finding themselves in the same situation I am. It's also worth noting that he's currently being sued by at least two other parties which, again, says a lot.

Extremely horrible service. On 12/10/2021 I paid $500 cash to Mr. Becker via Venmo for service to clear my driveway snow from Oct 2021 - April 2022. On 12\11\2021, after calling him twice for not showing up at the time he promised to be at my house to clear my driveway. When he finally showed up, he not only partially cleared my driveway, he went over my lawn, scraped off part of my lawn damaging my lawn, ran over marker indicating where my driveway ends, and possibly damaged my sprinkler system. I notified him right away before he left my property. Called him and texted him many times, letting him know of my dissatisfaction with his service, requesting refund of my money. Mr. Becker did not respond to either my phone call or text messages. As of today, 03\25\2022, Mr. Becker has not return my $500 nor respond to my text messages and calls. Ayoka As of today, 07/24/2023 Mr. Becker hasnt refunded the $500 I paid him via Venmo, he didnt do the job, that is to clear my driveway for 2021-2022 snow season. He changed his phone number thinking I will not find him. Called and texted the old numbers until today that I found out is no longer valid. Havent hear from him since 2022 when he said if I remove my post written here, he will give my money back to me. I will continue writing until he refunded my money. To me $500 is not a small amount. So be careful before giving your money to Caleb Becker while the job hasnt started or completed.

Highly recommend NOT hiring Caleb Becker. Hired this spring and what a complete nightmare. 8+ weeks on a 4 day project. Not only was the work poor quality, he did not complete the job. He left and stated he would be back the following week to finish though never showed. Weeks with no reply to text or calls. I even confronted him at a community event in person weeks later, with him promising an explanation and call the following day though it never happened. I had to end up hiring another company to finish/repair the majority of his work costing $10,000+ in addition to what I already paid to Caleb. Such incredible customer service! The attention to every single detail of our design was ironed out through what was the BEST communication from any contactor we've EVER worked with!
