I rent his 276 center street property. Its not worth $560 a month. I have been living here for 2 years. The apartment itself is very clean and nice. The building however is not. His idea of fixing the leaking roof under the 2nd story balcony is by laying down rubber on the decking so water doesn't leak in and putting liquid tar on the roof seams. Major infeststion in the walls. Bats for sure and also possibly mice. Everywhere. Bats are always flying around in the hallways during the summer. I can hear them crawling through the walls at night. Very loud scratching. I have been woken up from the noise. Other tenants hear it in their walls too. I just heard loud bat chirping in a water hookup access door in my bathroom. Steve says there is nothing he can do about it. Major fire hazard. Whatever is in the walls could be chewing the wiring. The heat went out on February 10th 2017. The current date is March 7th 2017 and the heat still is not fixed. He gave me two space heaters that are driving up my electricity. According to city the city inspector using space heaters to heat a rental building goes against city ordinance. Steve is suppose to be paying the heat. He is lazy and doesn't take care of the property. He shouldn't own properties. Please save yourself the problems.
