My naughty dog chewed up my glasses and I had a job interview to go to the next day. I was frantic. I went to the Shopko Optical Center in Winona, Minnesota thinking what am I going to do I have no other glasses for backup and I wore my prescription sunglasses so I could get there. I went in and in 15 minutes I was walking out with glasses with new frames and still in shock how quickly they took care of my problem. I have gone to another optical place and the first two pair I got the scrips were wrong and I had to go over two weeks without my glasses both times. Luckily I had some out dated glasses I got by with. The reason I changed providers was because the last pair of glasses I owned from the other guy, about a year into owning them, started to get bubbles in the coating on the lenses. Just a couple small bubbles , ok, then more and more and they got impossible to wear because it was like looking through a window covered with dead bugs. Spots everywhere. Well, with all the issues with them I thought I would go somewhere more convenient for me and maybe they wont suck like the well know optical center I was use to going to. The service was spot on the Doctor was very nice and easy to converse with, just an all around great experience. I will definitely be telling family and friends to try Shopko Optical out. Nice they have the small shops in convenient locations. Nice not to walk through the store to get to the optical center.
