Seriously, this is the definition of a horrible gun shop. I feel like Al's Gun shop is Al's wife telling Al he needs to put his guns up for sale or she's divorcing him. Everything is stupidly overpriced. Not antiques but used modern rifles and guns with rust down the bore, rust on the barrel, rust inside the chamber... The majority are used pawn store guns that someone had in a moist basement for years, then Al buys for dimes on the dollar and tries to flip for full price or above MSRP if their less then 10 years old and still sold new in stores. I've been here 3 times, once prior to 2010, once in 2016, and a couple of weeks ago (2024). Never disappoints... Everything is priced as if the apocalypse is almost upon us, and currency is somehow still valuable. If Al's gun shop was at a gun show, he'd be the one everyone looked at but no body picked up, because he's overpriced, low quality, and generally extremely crabby, crotchety old man. I've got $30 guns in my safe and $10,000 guns in my safe (the Barrett is probably worth more now), I've got $100 Sears & Roebuck SxS shotguns and a $8,800 CG Magnus Sporting 12G. I'm not picky about boom sticks, I'm just not shopping for junk and expecting to pay double its value either. The BBQ store across the street is legit through! Definitely worth checking that place out.

I would absolutely trust Al with any vintage firearms as well as new. Could probably run an art studio here too.

Ive known Al for many years. Few people are aware of the assaults, thefts, and human pain he has endured running a business and in service to our country. He is living with PTSD without ever being treated for it. I doubt hell ever share this information with you, but sadly, sometimes his behavior is the only side of the story people see.
