Was a visitor there unloading a few things from the vehicle around Christmas and a tow truck driver threatened to tow my vehicle if I did that again. Considering there was not a moment when a licensed driver wouldn't be able to move the vehicle, the tow truck driver was way out of line. Maybe even could be a "predatory tow driver" when considering his behavior. The building is nice.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have lived here going on 2 years in a 2 bdrm with 1 bathroom for almost 1300$ at this trash spot but its directly next to my work. There are much nicer, less gross rentals in white bear lake but they are significantly more per month and I work 65+ hours a week so Im barely home which is the only reason Ive survived this apartment as long as I have. They had an ant infestation in TWO of their 4 buildings for almost a year. The Pharoah ants were In the apartments, the laundry rooms and on the walls of the shared hallways. I complained multiple times because, not only is that nasty but they would SWARM my pets food if any was left on the floor and the response that I got from management was that they were waiting on the pest control people to get what they needed to do their job. After 9 months of complaining and having NOTHING done, they sent out notifications that they were raising rent a few hundred a month. Even though, they had an existing pest infestation that they were fully aware of! I not only threatened to get a lawyer (as I believed it was illegal to raise rent with an existing pest infestation) but encouraged my neighbors to do so and guess what? A mere 8 days later, plunketts pest control was out to take care of the issue! Just in time to raise rent when the pest control fella came to my apartment, I asked him when the management alerted them to the issue. He told me ONE WEEK AGO. These slumlords were doing nothing about the issue the entire time, collecting as much money as they could while blaming the infestation on the pest control company for not being efficient enough to have the tools/chemicals they needed. I was beyond angry, but havent seen an ant since. So I guess thats something. This complex also only has 2 washers and 2 dryers for the 18 apartments in our building and for the entire 2 years I have lived here, at least one of them is broken, at all times. Leaving ONE washer or dryer for 18 families to share. I cannot tell you how much of my time and money I have had to waste at the laundry mat. Which, isnt that bad because the washer and dryers here are filthy and smell a bit moldy. There is never ever anyone in the office and they dont return calls. Ive only gotten responses when I send emails. The office people are located at a different apartment building located in little Canada and they expect you to drive to them for any and all needs because they dont have a single employee that works or even goes to this office anymore. I alerted them by email in July of last year that my smoke alarm wouldnt stop going off and they told me they would be able to replace it in a few months due to parts shortages and maintenance employee staffing issues. That was 14 months ago and I still dont have a working smoke alarm in my complex. During the winter months, the snow removal takes almost a week if not longer. So if you dont have 4 wheel drive? I sure hope you have a job that understands you calling in because youre most certainly NOT getting out of the parking lot, and if by some miracle you manage to get out of your spot? Youre definitely not making it up the steep hill at the only entrance/exit for the parking lot. I cannot even count how many people I had to help push in or out of their parking spots last winter. it suuuucks and is actually quite dangerous because of how many cars park on the street, you cannot see if there is any oncoming traffic at the top of the exit while you try and shoot yourself up an icy, snow filled hill. I barely make it with a 4wheel drive suv. Its very unsafe! Not to mention, the towing company they have come thru nightly is fully corrupt. I dont even want to get started on the issues Ive had with them.. These people DO NOT care about their tenants in the slightest and they have very little integrity or pride in this rental location. They really only want your rent, its not worth spending any of your hard earned money here. This place is not a home of any kind, its simply a place to lay your head.
