Good experience to gain, but overall overwhelming. I worked in the post acute rehabilitation department. I was the only CNA who helped the residents. There were some good nurses who helped out, but most of them sat on their phones and didnt ever help me pass room trays out or help transfer clients. The main issue I had with this association was that I got my CNA in October and they didnt give me the raise I was supposed to get until over a month later. I asked if Id be compensated for the money I missed out on and they said I would be. I never was. So then I quit. Not to mention that I worked a double shift and wasnt even given time and a half for overtime.

Biggest standout: all the staff were professional, helpful and friendly, from the aides to the therapists to the nurse practioner. The facility is clean and well kept. Our private transitional care room was large, had ample storage for clothes, had a large private bathroom, mechanically adjustable bed, and TV. The facility has a salon and chapel. Mom got a great haircut while there! If we had to use transitional care again, we would definitely come back!
