        It's funny how online it says it's open til 11 but when you go to the door at 1015pm it's locked and the cashier just stares at you

        Bought groceries to make dinner came to $19 upon rounding up for charity I realized only after paying by credit card that rounding up added a $12 book of stamps to my total.. I went to the customer service told them what happened he asked if I rounded up I said yes he says that's what happens when you round up and he doesn't know how to fix it.. buyer beware look at your receipt or don't round up. Unacceptable that this problem wasn't solved immediately after finding it. How many thousands of dollars worth of stamps have they sold to customers without their knowledge as well as not receiving the stamps they paid for? Is it his the new scam?

        Ehhhh it was ok but nothing special. I went to a different Hy-Vee acouple of years ago and they had such a variety in the produce department with produce from all over the world but not anymore. I'll stick with Cub and Walmart, they are less expensive then Hy-Vee. Cashier was rude but bakery department staff were so nice. Would not go out of my way to go back.

        I had such a wonderful experience at Hy-vee this morning (Thanksgiving). I went to buy a Carmel apple pie. Unfortunately Hy-vee only had regular apple pie (very delicious by itself). I asked the two young ladies decorating cakes and cookies if they had Carmel topping for the apple pie I was going to purchase. I don't think it would be socially correct to throw out their names (which i do know) but they treated so well. They added Carmel to the pie and were so kind in doing so. The treated me so well and they didn't behave like I was asking them to build a bridge over the Mississippi River. I am not a rich man and some of the prices on items are cheaper at the other guys. When it comes to taking some of their busy time to help me out and make my Thanksgiving better was much appreciated. Thank you ladies from decorating in the bakery and the rest of the staff. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
