Do not trust this place after having approved the credit, they tell you that you must pay more money for another reason taking into account that they sent us a message where everything had gone very well and then they said that it was twice as much

Where do I even start at? Well first off, when first moving in i had to deal with SEVERAL different people in the office!! Different people from the very start. From applying, to signing my lease, to picking up my apartment keys. It was an absolute MESS, with NO ONE knowing what is going on!! Randi is the new property manager, she is doing her best. But in my opinion she doesn't know what the heck she is doing half the time. Last i checked when you move into an apartment you are given a lease with the "RULES" of the community. And in that lease it should state certain things like "LEASE VIOLATIONS" but it DOES NOT!! SO in fact that is technically breaking the leases of EVERYONE that lives in this community!! The office is NEVER open when you need it to be! You can never get your concerns fixed or acknowledged. And when they do YOU HAVE to keep going to the office and bug the office staff to get it done!! In the office you have Randi (property manager) Bridgett & another gal (i think she just started; shes rude & ALWAYS on her phone) & lastly you have Ava ( THAT IS NEVER IN THE OFFICE) Every time i turn my head there is SOMETHING new that is wrong with this fairly new complex. (i understand things happen) WE DO NOT have a maintenance onsite. There is a guy named Andrew that DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, he is followed by his puppy dog of a girlfriend Eva (which is supposed to be in the office mind you BUT IS NEVER!!) Both of them live here as well, with that saying IF you have a problem then you would think that it would get fixed in a timely manor BUT NOPE!!! They are not friendly nor welcoming!! The property looks nice online, and when touring. But take a second look around you. There is one way in and one way out of. The apartments look nice, updated and stylish BUT they are poorly put together!! The bathroom counter top is NOT granite like the kitchen counter tops, which makes the bathroom counter tops get ruined VERY VERY easily!! The tub is small and tight cant enjoy a bath if you want to!! The walls are thin, you can hear your next door neighbors every move. Walking thru the halls, well the doors to the apartments are really thin you can HEAR inside someones apartment (from conversations to tv to music to fighting & arguments). The carpet in the bedrooms and closets is VERY cheap. They used carpet squares, MINE ARE COMING UP!! THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!! To top it off don't DECORATE YOUR FRONT DOOR for ANY holiday!! Mine got stolen (taken right off my door) You cant trust anyone!! For the price you pay in rent a month you should not have this happen!! You pay for what you get!! This apartment is NOT WORTH $1,700!! PARKING, oh my god!!! You either pay $70-75 extra a month for underground parking. Or risk not having a spot up above in the SMALL parking lot!! There are NOT enough pa rking spaces for the amount of residence that lives in the complex. There is several parking around the complex BUT you CANNOT park there between certain times & on top of it, it's only 2 hr parking. There is a new thing that has started and that is parking passes. IF YOU DO NOT have one THEN YOUR CAR WILL get towed. Have guest over DON'T, go to their house, bc there are ONLY 4 spaces for guests to park & those spots are ALWAYS taken!! PARKING IS RIDICULOUS!! When having a spot underground you have to walk thur the smells of EVERY ONES trash, knats, trash on the ground, over flowing bins.

Shakopee Flats recently received a new lady name Randi, to be the onsite manager. Randi has been incredibly helpful. She brings with her a positive attitude and willingness to help. I have been a resident for over a year now and have seen other managers here and Randi, I must say lights this place up. :) I hope her company sees this and recognizes the talent they have! She cares, she's compassionate, and I hope we keep her for a while. She was very patient and helpful with helping me switch units, she listens anytime there is a complaint and responds very quickly. I know there's a lot of changes coming in with new management, but I can tell everything is a lot more organized. Thank you, Cassaundra!
