New Horizon Academy

We have been going to New Horizon from the infant stage all the way to preschool and have had the best experience. The teachers are so caring and we love that the same teachers and directors have been at the location since we started over 5 years ago! We will truly miss the teachers and directors once we are gone.

I can't put into words how special this school is. Our son has been a part of this family since he was 8 months. He is almost 6 now and graduated the preschool program. We no longer need daycare with him in school full time and are very sad to have to say good bye. The ladies here are top notch and quickly became like family. Our son ran into school everyday so happy to see them. He learned so much and is more than prepared for kindergarten. I can honestly say after more than 5 years we never had a negative experience. It amazes me that most of the staff is the same since we started. Thank you for providing learning, healthy meals and mostly so much love to our boy and his parents!!

We have been at New Horizon for almost 5 years. I couldn't imagine sending my kids anywhere else! My oldest has been at NHA since he was 10 weeks old. He will start kindergarten in the fall and I feel he is ready emotionally, socially, and academically thanks to NHA. Ms Alissa and Ms Cheyenne have been a great addition to the preschool room this year. It's fun seeing our younger son share the same love for his teachers in the infant (Ms Kytonya) and toddler rooms (Ms Sandy and Ms Jean). He loves being able to see his brother at different times throughout the day. Rose is the anchor to the center and I appreciate her willingness to take the time for a quick (or not so quick) chat to talk about my concerns or questions.Highly recommended!

Its always a little nerve wracking when looking for good childcare options, but I felt at total ease after I first met the teachers and staff at NHA Savage. My daughter started with them and is now in the preschool aged room and I have a son currently in the infant room. Both children have received exceptional, loving care from many wonderful individuals. I like that each class has a daily schedule, well planned curriculum and fun activities to fill the day. I also appreciate all the extra opportunities available to them (my daughter participates in music and Spanish classes). We love it at NHA Savage!

My 10 week old son was left unattended long enough for a child over the age of 1 years old to walk/crawl over to my son who was laying on the floor, and bite him in the face and it looks to be at least twice. One mark is very close to is eye, another above his lip which broke skin, and the other very large one that broke skin in multiple places was his whole nose. I immediately left work to pick up my son as soon as I was notified. I then called my pediatrician and she told me to take him to urgent care to be put on antibiotics. Then after having my son in my care I went to change is diaper and noticed another bite on his belly, which they failed to tell me about. When I called to talk to someone about this I was treated rudely. The next day I was thinking I would receive a call, but nobody called so I called them and talked to the director, she told me all classrooms have blind spots. I dont think a 10 week defenseless infent should be left unattended, especially when children over the age of 1years old are in the same room. All they said was sorry. Never once did anyone ask how they could help or make the situation better. I 100% do not believe I'm getting the whole truth, and I will never know what really happened. My child was only in their care for 6 days and this happened. Absolutely no excuse for an infant to be severely bite in the face!
