Easy to find and parking is free and close by. The check-in process was super easy, staff is friendly and waiting room is large. All of the nursing staff was very nice, helpful, and they eased my nerves going into my procedure. Everyone was friendly, down to earth and professional. I really appreciate everyone doing such a great job to take care of me the minute I walked in the door until I was wheeled out.

If I could give this joke of a facility 0 stars I would, the absolute audacity to offer gender affiring care to my friend only to have staff REPEATEDLY misgender him is appalling and speaks volumes of the lack of care they give their patients, I'm completely disappointed by the ignorance these health care workers displayed and hope that they either learn basic human decency or change career paths

dr combs was great, she was my partners surgeon for his top surgery. aside from her, however, EVERY SINGLE nurse and the receptionists continued to call him by she/her pronouns. as medical professionals they had access to and saw his chart, saw his chosen name, saw that he takes testosterone, saw that he was getting gender affirming surgery, and it was abundantly clear that this was a trans man. yet almost every single staff member had to be corrected multiple times. absolutely horrible experience for my partner to wake up from this life changing surgery to be immediately bombarded with this. as a clinic that offers gender affirming healthcare, your staff should absolutely do better. you should be asking people pronouns at the very least so as to avoid this. shameful. parking is also an absolute nightmare so if youre dropping someone off i highly suggest staying all day to make sure you can park to retrieve them.

For the second time, I suffered as a patient due to their lack of communication & professionalism. 7:40 am, 1 business day before my procedure, I was woken up and told that the pre-op that I completed (and they had weeks prior) was not going to be accepted. I could cancel or do the procedure w/o sedation. I specifically wanted sedation for this spot in my neck as it was already tender & sore. I had the procedure w/o sedation, after waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes as the receptionist canceled my appointment w/o even confirming anything with me. Almost 2 weeks out, I am still in substantial pain and now my doctor will not respond to my request. I have had to dramatically increase my pain medication, which is NOT covered by insurance and is out of my pocket cost. I have also left a message for Angela, the Admin/Supervisor, and still have not had the respect of a return phone call or MyChart message. The HP Same Day Surgery center has a severe problem with communication; not only among staff, but also that of the patient. I have seen through repeated examples, that systemically, the "left hand does not know what the right has is doing." And this NEEDS to be addressed so patients, such as myself, do not need to suffer!

I read the reviews of this surgery center and I was skeptical when taking my boyfriend in for surgery from reading some of the previous reviews. This place was awesome!! The staff was friendly, communicative, efficient and professional. What a great experience we had!
